Peruincafolk traditional and authentic folk dances and music from the South American country of Peru. Dances include from the Amazon, Andean and Andalusian Spanish ,African roots which influenced it in the last 500 years since the Spanish conquest.
Peruincafolk is dedicated not only to dance excellence, but also to the preservation and sharing of the beauty, courage and survival of ancestral tradition and culture of the Incas’ country. This hauntingly beautiful and immensely appealing program combines music, stories and dance to transport audiences of all ages to the Andes from the Coast, the mountains, and the Amazon of Peru. including a variety of educational, interactive workshops, for all ages.
Rosa carhuallanqui first Founder Peruinca, since 2004 in Clifton New Jersey and 2007 in Manhattan New York, has been a group with a mission: to preserve and instill appreciation for their cultural legacy through the international language of music and dance.
